|
The Community Land Trust model has been in use for over three decades, with over 200 CLTs currently in existence across the United States. The model continues to grow in popularity, as individual communities come together in search of new and innovative ways to address their affordable housing challenges. The map below shows the location of CLTs in the United States. View a high resolution PDF of the map here, as well as a complete listing of the CLT locations.

For the first round of Neighborhood Stabilization Program funding, the Department of Housing and Urban Development developed a ranking system for every census tract to indicate the level of risk and abandonment due to foreclosure activity, property devaluation, vacancy rates and a number of other factors. This map below shows the ranking of census tracts within the City of Oakland. Darker colored tracts (Scores 9 and 10) indicate areas of high risk and are the areas the OakCLT will be targeting with their NSP1 funding. Click on the map for a higher resolution PDF document.
